Walked in wanting to buy Japanese spices, and I had trouble locating it, there was an older lady who took it upon herself to follow me and watch me throughout the store.

Similar experience to some here. The cashier is seemingly upset to help anyone out. He takes big sighs like your an annoyance. Lots of frozen items are expired, and have freezer burn. Do check expiration dates if you go. Also count your money and change, If you use cash.. Do not just hand him your card.. ALWAYS ask for a receipt so you know he’s not keeping some of your money for himself. I caught him in the act, brought my money back in and explained that he gave the wrong change and he clearly knows how to count. He didn’t seem apologetic or surprised that he gave the wrong change because I’m sure he knew. He’s counting on customers like us to be careless with our money so he could make a few bucks. Anyways I always smile big and wish him a good day.. the energy is never returned. I only go there for 1 item so I can happily go somewhere else.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The man at the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment we approached, he ignored our questions, frowned the entire time, and acted irritated that we were even there. He packed all of our items, including multiple glass bottles, into just one thin bag, completely overstuffing it despite having a full basket of items. We politely asked if he could split some of the items into two bags to prevent the glass from breaking, but he blatantly refused and began arguing instead of simply assisting. His tone was aggressive and dismissive, and communication was difficult because he would argue rather than clearly respond to what we were asking. This behavior was very different from our experiences at other Asian stores and restaurants in Corpus Christi, where customer service is usually respectful and welcoming. Unfortunately, this visit felt uncomfortable and unnecessary confrontational. The products may be fine (although there are some items were expired so be cautious and check the dates) but customer service matters. We left feeling frustrated and disrespected. Surprised to see an Asian market in Corpus Christi. It is good size Asian supermarket for the town. Nice to see it has some fresh Asian vegetables.

I love to shop here, but frustrated with all those unlcear price tags, a lot of goods with wrong price tags on the rack, you really have no idea how much they will cost you. Thank you for bringing back my favorite veggie, after peeling the skin, you will see so beautiful green , slice it, stir well with salt, sugar and vinegar, let them stay for a couple of hours, mmmm 😋, delicious salad/pickles, in fridge it can be kept for several days for eating.
